In an interview to promote his first album with his new band, The Dead Weather, musician Jack White revealed that a White Stripes documentary will be out soon.
In 2007, the White Stripes toured every province in Canada, giving last-minute shows in small venues, including a bowling alley in Saskatoon and a youth centre in Edmonton.
In Montreal, the Detroit duo performed at the Black Watch Armory before taking the stage at the Bell Centre.
Jack White explained that he was interested in following his Canadian tour due to his Canadian origins. In fact, four generations of White’s ancestors lived in Nova Scotia.
