A woman’s diet during pregnancy influences the risk of miscarriage

What future mothers eat plays a role in their risk of miscarriage.

It seems that another factor has been added to the list of risks of having a miscarriage. It was already known that the age of the mother and also the father could play a role, along with weight. Now researchers state that nutrition has an impact too.

A mother who does not eat properly is more likely to have a miscarriage than one who eats a balanced diet. Pregnant women should therefore prioritize green vegetables, fruits, milk, cheese, eggs and eat a little bit of fish, butter and oil.

But future fathers should also pay attention to their diet prior to conceiving a baby. They need to consume plenty of vitamins and should also not neglect to eat foods such as melons, tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, almonds, carrots, spinach, eggs and fish.
