AC/DC Boycotts iTunes

The flamboyant guitarist of the Australian group told the Daily Telegraph the reasons why we won’t be seeing AC/DC material on the music downloading giant.

"We believe the songs on any of our albums belong together. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album," Angus Young said.

The musician admitted that the group received several requests for their songs to become available on iTunes, but AC/DC will not give into pressure from the music industry.

"Since iTunes came into existence, we’ve actually increased our back catalogue sales without being on the site," Young revealed.

Starting October 20, AC/DC fans can get their hands on their new album, Black Ice, however not via iTunes.
