Actors Join Facebook Cast

Director David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) has found three stars to play the main characters in the film, entitled The Social Network.

According to Variety, Justin Timberlake will play Sean Parker, the co-founder of Napster who became the president of Facebook.  Jesse Eisenberg (Adventureland) will play Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook.  Andrew Garfield (Lions for Lambs) will play Eduardo Saverin, who battled with Zuckerberg over money.

The film will trace the history of the popular social networking site that began in 2004 on the campus of Harvard University.  The film will also recount how it evolved and changed the lives of its founders.

Filming is set to begin next month in Boston and Los Angeles.

Justin Timberlake starred in the film The Open Road, released in August.  Jesse Eisenberg will star in Zombieland on October 2, and Andrew Garfield stars in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, opening on December 25.
