While many artists are expressing their desire to collaborate with Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert is going another way. The American Idol finalist announced he wants to record with his teen idol, Christina Aguilera.
Even though he lost to Chris Allen last year on the eighth season of American Idol, people recognized that Adam Lambert was going places and would have a very interesting career. The success of his debut album, For Your Entertainment, has already proven that.
Christina Aguilera recently staged a comeback with the release of her album Bionic. Adam Lambert couldn’t say enough good things about the superstar who he has admired for a long time.
He said, "I’ve been a fan of hers since I was a teenager and when she first came out, we were around the same age… I think she’s incredible. There’s really no-one who can match those vocals. I think it would be really fun to sing with her. She’s a powerhouse."
Lambert has already performed songs by Lady Gaga, Matt Bellamy from Muse and Justin Hawkins from The Darkness.
