The American Idol finalist will be working on six songs with RedOne for his debut album, reports RollingStone.
RedOne is the producer behind some of Lady Gaga’s smash hits, including Poker Face, LoveGame and Just Dance.
Speaking about what kind of approach he would take for Lambert’s disc, RedOne stated, “It has to be rock, but with an interesting dance angle to it, you know? You’ll like it.”
Although Lambert’s rep has not confirmed the collaboration, the singer himself said, “I can say that is true. We have been writing the past couple days and I think we’re going to come out with some amazing tunes. I’m going to have my own sound but I do love Lady Gaga. I’m a huge fan.”
