Adam Sandler Gets Served

Comic strip writer Robert Cabell is suing Adam Sandler, as well as his collaborators at Happy  Madison Productions, Sony and Columbia Pictures, for having stolen his idea for the film You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

The author claims that the idea of the Israeli special forces agent-turned-hairstylist is straight out of his BD comic series, Hair-Raising Adventures of Jayms Blonde.

He says that in 2007, he gave Columbia the idea to bring his character to life on the big screen.

Cabell added that Sandler began shooting the film in Los Angeles shortly after he spoke with Columbia, which was five years after his first comic books of the series were published.
