Adam Sandler To Star in Zohan

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sandler wants to join the film, which is based on his story, You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.

The comedy is based on a script by Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Adam Sandler.  The story follows an Israeli secret service agent who fakes his death so that he may become a hair stylist in New York.

Zohan will begin filming this summer in New York and Los Angeles, and is expected to be released in 2008.

Sandler, 40, has two feature films that will be released soon.
