Adam Sandler’s Generousity

According to the website IOL, Sandler spent Christmas with a brother and sister who are battling cancer.  The star of the films Punch-Drunk Love and 50 First Dates, among others, gave the teenagers a Sony PlayStation 3 with all of the games, autographed DVDs and a poster from the film The Longest Yard.

Stephanie, 15, and Kevin Hudon, 18, are both residents of Sandler’s home town of Manchester, New Hampshire.  Stephanie has bone cancer that recently spread into her lungs.  Brother Kevin is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Christine Monahan, a teacher at Manchester Memorial High School, has been helping the family to raise funds for the two teens.  Monahan confirmed that the Hudon’s were thrilled with Sandler’s gifts.
