Affleck and Damon together again
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will work together again producing films for Warner Bros. A first-look producing deal is in the works and about to be signed.
The two actors have worked together in the past through their company LivePlanet which had a deal with Disney until 1997. They also took home a Best Original Screenplay Oscar in 1997 for Good Will Hunting.
Affleck and Damon acted together in School Ties in 1992 and Dogma in 1999.
Matt Damon has developed a good relationship with Warner Bros. over the past several years. The studio is responsible for some of his biggest hits including Invictus, The Informant!, The Departed, Syriana and the Ocean’s Eleven franchise.
Ben Affleck can be seen next in The Company Men with Kevin Costner but no release date has been set. He also wrote, directed and starred in The Town, opening on September 10.
As for his buddy Matt, he appears in Green Zone coming to theatres on March 12 and in The Adjustment Bureau out on July 30.
