Agreement Between iTunes and the Beatles
Apple and iTunes have obtained the rights to distribute not only the music of the group, but also the music of all four Beatles’ solo careers, reported PC World.
Apple made a 400 million dollar deal with Paul McCartney so that fans can download the songs of their choice by the Fab Four on iTunes.
RollingStone.com stated that Ringo Starr and the estates for John Lennon and George Harrison will also be getting a cut. A date has not been established for the digital release of the albums.
