Aiming for Avatar

Kanye West hosts a webcast from his hotel room.

Kanye West is in the middle of a respectable comeback. He burned a lot of bridges when he jumped uninvited onto that MTV VMA stage in 2009. He is back in the game now and held an impromptu webcast from his hotel room in Korea.

The rapper was "killing time" before he had to catch a plane and received hundreds of questions to answer. He picked some of the questions and went on to talk about a mix of stories.

He confessed: "Hopefully this album – if not this album, then the next album – will be [my] masterwork. That Avatar-level [work]."

West also said he was scrapping the working title of the upcoming album. Big Ass Job gets the boot and he is still trying to make a final decision. Dark Twisted Fantasy is one option.

Kanye gave props to a few lead singers of popular alt rock groups. He revealed: "When I listen to Thom Yorke (Radiohead) or Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). I don’t understand everything they’re saying the first time, but I feel it, I feel the emotion of it, I feel the artistry in it.
