Air Canada Increasing Offers

Continuing to increase its customer base and offer the best possible service, Air Canada has added an additional option for its passengers.

After ascertaining in recent weeks the use of new technologies accessible by customers with an email address, mobile phone or a Smartphone, now the airline is giving their passengers the opportunity to choose their seat.

Ben Smith, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Air Canada, said, "Some customers have indicated they prefer the additional legroom afforded by certain seats in the economy cabin of our aircraft, notably those located in exit rows or near internal dividers know as bulkheads.  With our preferred seat option, we are giving customers the opportunity to reserve these seats in advance so they can look forward to their trip knowing they will enjoy extra comfort."

The option offered by Air Canada ranges from $14 to $100, depending on whether the flight is one way, within Canada, and covering less than 350 miles on a flight between two international cities passing through Canada. The option is free however to members of Air Canada Super Elite who bought a ticket at Tango Plus or Latitude, as well as for members of Air Canada Elite and Star Alliance Gold members of other carriers who bought a ticket at Latitude.

Customers can select a place preference on all flights of Air Canada or Jazz at the time of booking or at any time prior to the registration, subject to availability.
