Air France’s New Billing Procedures

Air France will change its business plan to achieve savings.

Faced with the current global crises like most of its competitors, Air France is expected to announce shortly changes to their business plan, according to Le Journal du dimanche in France.

Air France will now change the way they charge their clients, mainly those in economy class. Some of the changes include charges on all passenger luggage and the addition of a special surcharge to clients who request for a seat upfront so they can leave the plane quickly. They will also charge for meals in economy class.

These measures were first put forward by American companies that were most affected by the current global crisis.

According to Le Journal du dimanche, Air France will announce these changes sometime in November, but the actual start date for when the new billing procedures will begin is unknown.
