Three other actors have joined the cast of Alice in Wonderland, to be directed by Tim Burton.
Alan Rickman will play the caterpillar, Eleanor Tomlinson will be a new character, Fiona Chataway, Alice’s spiteful peer, while Christopher Lee’s role has not yet been revealed.
The trio will co-star with Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Sheen and Matt Lucas.
Burton’s loyal composer, Danny Elfman, will also provide the musical score to the remake.
Alan Rickman will also be returning to his role as Professor Snape in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, coming to theatres on July 17, 2009.
