According to Bilboard.com, this new album was influenced by world and folk music, but will also have a touch of experimental pop. The album was directed by Guy Sigsworth, who has worked with Björk and Madonna.
Morissette used her diversified musical taste and worked with organic, diverse instruments and hip-hop rhythms. In the next few weeks, Morissette will choose 11 tracks from all of the material she has prepared.
Morissette is going on tour with Matchbox Twenty in January.
