Alanis Morissette Was Singing about Dave Coulier

Dave Coulier inspired one of the most bitter songs written by Alanis Morissette.

According to People, most fans believe that the angry song by Morissette, You Oughta Know, was aimed at hockey player Alexandre Daigle, however, Dave Coulier revealed that the Canadian singer was singing about him.

The Full House star once dated the singer, who is much younger than him, but claims that he had no idea that she would be sharing their breakup with the public.

He explains his reaction when he heard the song for the first time. "I said, ‘Wow, this girl is angry,’. And then I said, ‘Oh man, I think it’s Alanis.’ … I listened to the song over and over again, and I said, ‘I think I have really hurt this person.’ "

He added that there is no animosity between him and Morissette, and that they even met up one day. He stated, "We saw each other and hung out for an entire day. And it was beautiful. It was one of those things where it was kind of like, ‘We’re good.’ "
