Alexa Chung has psychic powers.

The brunette beauty has revealed she uses telepathy to stay one step ahead of fellow fashionistas and sport the latest trends before they have hit the catwalk.

Alex, 30 – who is currently residing in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week – told The Cut: ”I’m psychic. I don’t see one because I already know what’s up. All last week, I was thinking about Chinese slippers, you know, the ones you see in Soho with the embroidery on them? And then there they were in the Marc by Marc Jacobs show today.”

As well as ensuring she remains the best dressed, the model and presenter insists her talent has even more practical uses and helps her to locate friends whenever she finds herself alone at a party.

She explained: ”If I lose people, at a festival or at a party – like when I went to Sleep No More and lost my friends – I can tell where their energy is and map it out in my head and know where they are in the room.

”If cell phones go down, I can tell where someone is.”
