Alice In Chains Inks Deal

Alice in Chains has penned a deal to release a new album this fall.

The group Alice In Chains has endorsed an agreement with Virgin/EMI to release an all-new album in mid-September.

No title has yet been given to the disc, which will be the first for the band’s new singer, William DuVall. DuVall joined the group in 2005 to replace Layne Staley, who died of a drug overdose in 2002.

According to the band’s Web site, some of the songs are ready to go and with these new tunes, the group hopes to revive their career. Special guests will also be featured on the album.
