The New York Daily News claims that Alicia Keys could have played a factor in the divorce between hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz and R&B singer Mashonda.
Even though Beatz strongly attests that Alicia Keys had nothing to do with his separation last April, Mashonda is not all that convinced, especially after learning what had happened at a party organised by Keys.
During the event, Keys presented Swizz Beatz as "the man of the hour and my boo," which had Mashonda completely infuriated. "Mashonda has had enough. She put her career on hold to be a wife and mother. She’s tired of pretending she’s deaf, dumb and blind to what’s going on. She can’t believe how disrespectful Alicia is being," revealed a source to the newspaper.
Swizz, who accompanied Alicia Keys on her European summer tour, says that he has never hidden his relationship with the star, but that it began after his separation from his wife.
