After the birth of her first child, singer Alicia Keys, 29, is telling the world about the joys of motherhood, reports Music News.
Last Thursday (October 14), singer gave birth to her son, Egypt Daoud Dean, her first child with husband, rapper and producer Kasim ‘Swizz Beatz’ Dean, 32. She talked about how surprised she was by the depth of feeling for her child.
“There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!!” she tweeted.
The Empire State of Mind hitmaker also took the opportunity to thank her fans for their support, adding, “Thank U 4 your love, support and prayers!”
This is the first child for Keys and the fourth child for Dean, who has two sons, Prince and Kaseem Dean Jr., and daughter, Nicole, from previous relationships.
Shortly after Alicia gave birth, Dean made an excited post on the social networking website, tweetintg: “I’m so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!”
Keys and Dean were married July 31, 2010 during a private ceremony on the French island of Corsica, on the shores of the Mediterranean.
