French cosmetics company Natureal Paris is the first cosmetics brand to introduce organic superfruits as a key ingredient in its skincare products.
Within the global ‘functional food’ industry, there has been a rapidly growing recognition of raw (not dried) cranberries for their consumer product popularity, nutrient content and antioxidant qualities, giving them commercial status as a ‘superfruit.’
Superfruits are exceptionally rich in antioxidants – a natural ingredient contained in certain vitamins, enzymes and minerals – helping fight against free radicals (unstable molecules which damage the cells of our bodies) and the external threats (like pollution, stress, sun,) to protect us from the premature ageing.
The company’s approach has been to select fruits with the best nutritional profile to create skincare products. The cranberry collection includes five organic anti-aging skincare products: 12 precious oils serum, body scrub, purifying mask, and two types of skin cream, normal and dry. The brand next plans to launch a blueberry line.
Founded in 2009, Natureal cosmetics are 100 percent natural organic, and the percentage of ingredients from organic agriculture is superior to standard organic cosmetics.
All products are eco-certified and free from artificial coloring, preservatives, paraben, phenoxyethanol, polyethylene glycol, silicone, dyes, synthetic fragrances, animal matter, and are not tested on animals.
