Amanda Peet Doing New Dramatic Comedy

According to The Hollywood Reporter Amanda Peet will be playing in a new dramatic comedy.

Sony Pictures Classics will be producing and distributing the movie by screenwriter and director Nicole Holofcener (Friends With Money), starring Peet.  The actress will be acting alongside Oliver Platt, Rebecca Hall and Catherine Keener.

The untitled project will be a story of family, death and real estate.  In the movie, a woman and her husband will be living next to an elderly woman, and await her death to claim her apartment, but they are challenged by the woman’s granddaughters.

Amanda Peet can be seen in other movies this year, notably the much-anticipated X-Files:  I Want to Believe, which will hit theatres on July 25.
