Amanda Seyfried face of Clé de Peau

American actress stars in ads for cosmetics brand.

Luxury cosmetics brand Clé de Peau Beauté has unveiled their newest ad campaign featuring American actress Amanda Seyfried, reports Coco Perez. Photographed by David Sims, the ads featuring the 25-year-old actress should start appearing in the U.S. in March.

Clé de Peau, owned by the Japanese company Shiseido, is an exclusive beauty brand marketed to upscale consumers. In Canada, it is available through high-end retailers such as Holt Renfrew, The Bay, Sophie, and Ogilvy.

Seyfried, best known for her breakthrough performance in 2004’s Mean Girls and her regular role on the HBO series Big Love, got her start as a child model. At 17, she stopped modelling in order to focus on her acting career. This past year alone, she has starred in blockbusters Dear JohnChloe and Letters to Juliet.

Seyfried ranked fourth on People‘s "Most Beautiful 2009 – Beautiful at Any Age", and she was third on Glamour‘s "50 Most Glamorous Women of 2010".

She will next grace the big screen in Red Riding Hood, due out in March. Seyfried stars as Valerie, a young woman who falls in love with an orphaned woodcutter, as a werewolf terrorizes their medieval village. The film is produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and also stars Gary Oldman and Billy Burke.
