The Johnny Depp-Amber Heard story continues, as Heard is appealing her losing defamation verdict, where she lost to Depp, by filing a notice of intent in the Virginia Court of Appeals.
Heard’s intentions are to appeal the June 1 verdict, when the jury awarded more than $10M in damages to Depp following a lengthy trial, USA Today reports.
In addition, Heard fully intends to appeal the dismissal issued by Judge Penney Azcarate on July 13 regarding Heard’s post-trial attempt to set aside the verdict in order to start an entirely new trial.
