American Airports To Offer WiFi

Starting today, and continuing through January 15, 47 airports across the United States will be offering free Wi-Fi connection.

Google has teamed with the airports to provide free wireless service for a limited time.

This service, which is very popular with transit passengers, will permit travelers to get free access to the Internet and their e-mails during their stay in one of these 47 locations.

To do this, users must use their own laptop and simply connect.  They will then be invited to use the Google browser, Chrome, or open the home page of Google.

Participating airports, among others, include Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Houston (HOU), Las Vegas (LAS), Miami (MIA) and Orlando (MCO).
