Us magazine recently reported that actress Amy Adams is pregnant, and the news was later confirmed by her publicist. So far, there has been no announcement regarding the baby’s expected arrival date.
Adams met Darren Le Gallo in 2001 when they took an acting class together. They became engaged in July 2008, though a wedding date has not been set.
The 35-year-old actress explained in a recent interview, "I probably won’t have a big family. I can barely manage my own life! But I do want to have a family."
Adams has starred in films such as Enchanted (2007) and Doubt (2008). Last August she was hailed for her performance in Julie & Julia alongside Meryl Streep. Beginning on December 3, she will star in Moonlight Serenade as well as in the romantic comedy Leap Year, which hits theatres January 8, 2010.
As for Darren Le Gallo, he made an appearance in The Big Bang Theory in 2007. He is currently shooting Broken Kingdom in Colombia, set to hit theatres next year.
