The controversial singer cancelled her show set for May 31 in London. The concert was to be part of the 50th anniversary celebration for her label, Island Records.
The decision seems to have been made by the company, after recent rumours of Winehouse’s health made concert organizers nervous.
Two weeks ago, the singer had to bail out on a Caribbean concert in St. Lucia. Sources mentioned that the singer had forgotten her lyrics and that the crowd booed the troubled star’s performance, leading to her running off stage.
A Winehouse spokesperson announced that the singer was suffering from health problems, explaining her trip to the hospital. "She was complaining of chest pains, so the doctor advised her to come in and she was kept in the observation and then released," said the rep.
The Back to Black singer, who is becoming notorious for her setbacks, promised a reimbursement for people who bought tickets to see perform her next week.
