Winehouse is on the right track. Perhaps winning five Grammys helped the singer, or being in detox full-time. Her backup singer Zalon Thompson told People, "She’s full of energy, full of life. It’s a good thing."
According to Thompson, the 24-year-old singer is ready for the Brit Awards, where she will be performing.
Thompson added, "I think sometimes it takes you to go through certain hard things to overcome and to go on to do better things."
People also questioned Thompson about backup singer Blake Wood, a friend of Kelly Osbourne’s, whom Winehouse has spent a lot of time with lately. "Blake [Wood] is a friend," stated Thompson.
