The troubled young singer is being cared for at a hospital in St. Lucia, where she was vacationing.
According to witnesses, the star is not doing well. “She looked in a terrible state, a shaking mess. The people with her were very concerned,” a source told Britain’s The Sun.
Winehouse’s rep confirmed that the singer is in hospital, but explained that she is being treated for an allergic reaction.
Winehouse is expected to be released shortly, and will go home to recuperate.
