Winehouse cancelled her United Kingdom tour and is coping with the imprisonment of her husband, but she is doing well, according to music producer Mark Ronson. Ronson said, "She’s good. I called her today because the record was something that we went through together … Hopefully she will get into America so we can celebrate."
Winehouse must apply for a visa to enter the United States, and may be refused based on her criminal background. The singer was arrested in October for possession of marijuana.
The Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on February 10. Winehouse is nominated in six categories, including Song of the Year for Rehab, and Album of the Year for Back to Black.
