While she was in St. Lucia on Friday (May 1), Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital after she lost consciousness, reports Perez Hilton.
The Back to Black singer was hospitalised all weekend long, and doctors explained that the star was suffering from dehydration.
Winehouse’s last trip to the hospital was in February, also in St. Lucia, when she had an allergic reaction to medication, a spokesperson revealed.
"Amy fainted after being out in the sun and without drinking water. She has been taking part in a lot of activities which also played a part. It turned out it wasn’t a reaction to her medication, she was actually dehydrated. So she’s been told to drink lots of water and hopefully she will be released later," stated her rep.
