Fielder-Civil was arrested last Thursday, November 8, for trying to bribe someone in relation to his upcoming trial for assault. There were four men between 19 to 25 years of age arrested for this same incident. Fielder-Civil will be detained until November 23.
The British singer’s husband, 25, is on trial along with another man for attacking a waiter last June. Fielder-Civil tried to modify a witness’s testimony by offering $400 000.
Winehouse’s representative did not explain much, but did stipulate that she was not involved in this situation and was completely unaware of the bribery situation.
