Sculptors working for New York’s Madame Tussaud’s museum have recreated Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s baby, Shiloh, in wax. The newborn can thus join her artificial parents in the museum, rocked by African lullabies.
The wax version of the baby will somewhat look like her mother, with prominent lips and other delicate physical traits. The artistic creation will be in a crib, in a room decorated as a tree nursery.
The guests are strongly encouraged to take a picture with the Jolie wax family. Part of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.
Shiloh is the first baby to have its wax double. This strange tradition, which dates back to the 18th century, was an idea of Marie Grosholtz. The first wax museum, built in London, presented personalities such as Benjamin Franklin and Voltaire.
