Jolie is asking the government of Thailand to free the refugees who have been living in camps for more than 20 years, reports Starpulse.com.
The actress and United Nations ambassador recently visited the Ban Mai Nai refugee centre in Thailand. "I was saddened to meet a 21-year-old woman who was born in a refugee camp, who has never even been out of the camp and is now raising her own child in a camp," explained Jolie.
The actress is pleading with Thailand officials to at least give the 110 000 refugees the opportunity to have an education.
