The new mother of twins, who has been studying the language for several years, hopes that her name will one day be listed on the credits of a French film.
"When I can really speak it, then maybe I’ll audition for a French film in a few years," Angelina Jolie told the German magazine Focus.
The 33-year-old actress has shown particular interest for the film industry outside of Hollywood, although no European producers have approached her until now.
"More and more fantastic films are coming out of Europe and other cultures," commented the star.
