This will be the first biological child for Jolie, who is already the mother of two adoptive children, Maddox, 4, from Cambodia, and Zahara, 1, from Ethiopia.
The actress is currently in the Dominican Republic filming The Good Shepard with Matt Damon.
Brad Pitt, who recently filed a request to legally adopt Maddox and Zahara, has wanted children for a long time. He ended his marriage to actress Jennifer Aniston last year.
