Angelina Jolie shoots Louis Vuitton campaign

Salt star poses for Annie Liebowitz in Cambodia.

Salt star Angelina Jolie recently posed for Annie Liebowitz as the new face of French luxury house Louis Vuitton’s ‘Core Values’ campaign, reports Coco Perez.

The actress is reported to have attended the shoot in Siem Reap, Cambodia, last week, for the ‘Core Values’ campaign, in which famous photographer Annie Liebowitz chronicles the life journeys of famous people. Celebrities featured in previous campaigns include U2’s Bono and his wife Ali Hewson, and Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox was born in Cambodia, where the actress shot certain scenes for her film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Last month, according to a source close to the project, Jolie will be paid "close to $10 million" to appear in the upscale label’s newest ad campaign.

Jolie is known to be a fan of the label, often seen in public carrying the iconic LV handbags. If news about the $10 million price tag is true, this deal could be the most lucrative in Jolie’s career, according to E! Online.

Last year, the star ended her a long-term endorsement deal with fashion house St. John. Glenn McMahon, the label’s CEO, told WWD at the time that Jolie "overshadowed the brand."

The Tourist actress is also working on her own line of jewelry called Style of Jolie. Collaborating on the collection with jewelry designer Robert Procop, Jolie has reportedly been working on high-end necklaces, rings bracelets and earrings for the past nine months. Proceeds from the line will go towards the charity Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
