Jolie brought her eldest daughter to Ethiopia for the first time since she was adopted four years ago, reports Starpulse.
The actress is now in Kenya with husband Brad Pitt and their six children for a United Nations mission.
It seems that Jolie decided to make the small detour to Ethiopia last weekend with her daughters, Zahara and Shiloh.
A source revealed, "On a trip to Kenya with their children, Angelina stopped in Dabaab Refugee Camp, and also flew to Ethiopia with Zahara and Shiloh for two days. (It was) the first time Zahara had been back home since her adoption. The trip was about keeping up that culture for her."
