According to the website Ananova, Smith is suffering from pneumonia. The former Playmate was treated at the same hospital in the Bahamas where her son, Daniel Smith, died in September at the age of 20.
Three days after giving birth to daughter Dannilynn, Daniel died of mysterious circumstances. During her pregnancy, Smith decided to move to the Bahamas. Doctors at the hospital report that the star is now doing well.
Wayne Munroe, Smith’s lawyer, spoke of her illness, saying, "She has a slight case of pneumonia. We’ve had a sudden change of weather here due to a cold snap."
According to a pathologist, Smith’s son died from a lethal combination of medication.
