According to American sources, lawyer Howard Stern, was planning on marrying the former playmate in less than two weeks.
In September, the couple exhanged vows at a ceremony that was not a legal ceremony.
Stern has been mourning since last Thursday when Anna Nicole Smith was found dead in Florida.
The lawyer got on a flight to the Bahamas where he went to be with his five-month-old daughter Dannielynn. Two other men are fighting over the paternity of this child. Stern is fighting for custody of the baby.
