According to the British television station ITV, Virgie Arthur, mother of the late Anna Nicole Smith, succeeded in getting an appeal in West Palm Beach for the burial of her daughter. A judge had ruled that Anna Nicole Smith’s body be buried in the Bahamas, not in Texas, as her mother requested.
Arthur sent around a petition, to stop the lawyer, from taking the body of his former playmate to the Bahamas.
At this time, Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn, 5-months, is in the custody of Richard Milstein.
The lawyer wanted Smith’s body to be buried where she was living before she died, and where she buried her 20-year-old son Daniel.
Howard Stern, lawyer and boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith, is named as the father of Dannielynn.
