According to Femalefirst, a second autopsy was performed on the body of Daniel Smith, 20, which revealed that he had anti-depressant drugs in his system. Cyril Wecht, the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy, found no evidence of foul play.
Wecht revealed, "About four to six weeks before he died, Daniel had been prescribed a small dosage of one of the milder antidepressants. I’m not sure why."
Nonetheless, Wecht is convinced that the young man did not end his own life. He added, "Everything was well under control. There is nothing to suggest this was a suicide. The answer will reside with the toxicology tests."
