Unforgiven tells the story of a woman who is convicted for the murders of two police officers. She beomes the target of revenge when she is  released from prison, fifteen years later, reports Deadline.

It isn’t yet known what Jolie’s new film will be called,  as Clint Eastwood already used the title Unforgiven in 1992 for his Oscar-winning Western.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie costars with Johnny Depp in The Tourist, which opens December 10. She’ll also voice Tigress in Kung Fu Panda 2, which hits theaters May 26, 2011.
