The latest Batman flick has caught the attention of the Writers Guild of America and has earned a nomination for a prize in the best adapted screenplay category.
The WGA announced the list of nominees for their upcoming awards ceremony in February. The Dark Knight will be competing with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Doubt, Frost/Nixon and Slumdog Millionaire.
In the original screenplay category, the WGA nominated Burn After Reading, Milk, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Visitor and The Wrestler. The gala will take place on February 7 in Los Angeles. The Dark Knight was also selected by the Producer’s Guild.
