After DreamWorks Studios approached Steven Spielberg and Paul Greengrass to direct the political drama The Trial of the Chicago 7 , it’s now looking like Ben Stiller will be the man behind the camera.
Stiller is currently in talks with the company.
The film will tell the true story of a demonstrator arrested during the 1968 Democratic convention held in Chicago.
Rumour has it that Will Smith, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Daniels will be joining the cast.
Among Ben Stiller’s other projects, he is making a return as the animated character Alex the lion in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, which hits theatres on November 7.
