Gossip Girl creator, Josh Schwartz, has been hired to write X-Men: First Class. A director has not yet been recruited, and for the moment, Fox is not disclosing any information.
The X-Men films, featuring the young superpower mutants who attend Xavier Institute, have collected $1.2 billion worldwide. The last film made was X-Men: The Last Stand, released in 2006.
