The suit was filed on Monday, July 30. It accuses Apple of violating the rights of Eminem by making his music available without authorization via iTunes.
Eminem did not give permission for the recording of his songs. Eminem also sued Apple in 2004 for using his song Lose Yourself in a television advertisement for iTunes, but the lawsuit never went to court.
