Apple Watch Series 7 features softer corners, smaller bezels and a brighter display

Following weeks of rumours, Apple has officially revealed the Apple Watch Series 7.

Regarding new features, Apple says that the Series 7 features “softer, rounder” corners and bezels that measure in at just 1.7mm around the display. Other upgrades include a 70 percent brighter display in always-on mode, IP6X dust resistance and more

During the event, Apple highlighted several new watchOS 8 features, including bike fall detection, new workout algorithms for e-bikes and a new mindfulness app. Apple says watchOS 8’s buttons are also larger, and that the watch includes a new swipe typing interface.
