Arcade Fire has a secret

The Montreal group may play a secret gig in TO this coming weekend.

Last week, residents in the city of Sherbrooke, Quebec were excited to learn that the indie-rock group Arcade Fire had chosen their hometown to perform the first two shows of their comeback. According to those who watched the first show last night (June 7) at the Granada Theatre, the show was amazing, if not a bit short. There is a second show scheduled for this evening (June 8).

Now, it seems likely that the group will head to Ontario for a surprise show in Toronto next weekend. Although no official announcement has been made, a short message on Twitter was all it took to start the rumour mill churning.

Scott Rodger works for Quest Management in Toronto, the company which handles Arcade Fire. He is the source of this information that Arcade Fire will be heading west on the weekend. He only wrote six words on his Twitter page but that was enough. He tweeted: "Arcade Fire… Toronto weekend coming up."
